Your Data
Privacy Policy
No accounts. No analytics. No database. This is a plain accounting of the small number of things that actually move through sirenstudios.tech — a build enquiry, an optional newsletter — and exactly where they go.

The short version
Before the detail, the headline
- This website has no user accounts, no login, and no customer database — nothing to log into, nothing to breach.
- There's no analytics, tracking, or advertising code running anywhere on sirenstudios.tech.
- The one form that sends data anywhere — the "Build Your Companion" configurator — forwards it to a private Discord channel, not a database, because this site doesn't have one.
- The newsletter signup is currently switched off sitewide. If it's ever switched on, MailerLite — not Sirenwave — holds subscriber emails.
- Every purchase happens on Ko-Fi or Patreon under their own privacy policies. This site never sees your full card details.
This Website
What actually moves, and where
No accounts, nothing to store
sirenstudios.tech has no login system, no user accounts, and no admin panel reachable from the public internet. Browsing the site doesn't create a profile, a session record, or a stored history anywhere on our end — as far as the codebase goes, there's no analytics or tracking script of any kind sitting behind it.
The "Build Your Companion" form
The configurator on Custom Builds sends your name, email address, and the configuration choices you make (build level, add-ons, platforms, aesthetic, and similar) to our own server. That server forwards the request as a plain-text message to a private Discord channel via a webhook — visible to Sirenwave, not to other visitors. If the webhook isn't configured at the time, the server tells your browser the message wasn't delivered, and the page falls back to opening your own email client instead — nothing is ever sent silently. Either way, we don't operate a database, so there's nowhere for that enquiry to be retained beyond the Discord message itself, which lives in Sirenwave's private Discord server under Discord's own normal message retention.
Newsletter signup
The newsletter is currently disabled across the entire site — a hard-coded setting keeps it switched off, so no email address is being collected through it anywhere on sirenstudios.tech right now. If and when it's turned on, it will hand off completely to MailerLite, a third-party email marketing platform: your address would go directly into MailerLite's systems under MailerLite's own privacy practices, not into a database Sirenwave runs, because we don't run one.
Elsewhere
The other places your data can touch
Fonts — self-hosted, not loaded from Google
This site's typefaces (Cormorant Garamond, Manrope, Cinzel) are downloaded once and served directly from sirenstudios.tech's own server. Earlier versions of this site loaded them live from Google Fonts on every page view, which sent visitors' IP addresses to Google; that request has been removed entirely, not just disclosed — your browser never contacts fonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com for this site. See the Cookie Policy for more.
Payments — Ko-Fi and Patreon
Every purchase happens on Ko-Fi or Patreon, and — as a planned future addition — possibly Stripe or PayPal. These are third-party payment platforms that handle your billing and payment details entirely under their own privacy policies. sirenstudios.tech itself never processes, receives, or stores your payment card details — buying something happens entirely on those platforms, not on this website.
Outbound links
The Discord, Patreon, Ko-Fi, and YouTube links in the footer simply take you to Sirenwave's own presence on those platforms. Once you're there, that platform's own privacy policy governs what happens — not this one.
The Legal Detail
Legal basis, and where data actually goes
The legal basis for each thing we do
Where GDPR or a similar law applies, every use of personal data needs a lawful basis. Activity by activity: the "Build Your Companion" configurator is processed to take the steps you asked for in working out and responding to your build enquiry — a contract-related basis, not consent, since you're not asked to opt into anything to submit it. The newsletter, whenever it's switched on, will run entirely on consent — you opt in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing. An actual purchase (Ko-Fi, Patreon, or in future Stripe/PayPal) happens on that platform directly, under its own basis as the processor actually handling your payment, not ours.
Where your data actually goes
Discord, Stripe, PayPal, and Railway are all United States-based companies; MailerLite is EU-based (Lithuania). Where a provider we use is outside the EU/EEA, using it means your data is transferred internationally — those providers rely on their own safeguards for that, typically Standard Contractual Clauses or a recognized adequacy framework, not something Sirenwave Studios builds or administers itself. We haven't independently audited each provider's current transfer mechanism; their own privacy policy is the authoritative, up-to-date source for exactly how they handle it, not this page.
Your Rights
What you can ask for
The kinds of rights that commonly apply
Depending on where you're located, data protection law commonly gives you rights over personal data a business holds about you — things like the right to know what's held, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have it deleted, to receive a copy of it, to object to certain uses, and to complain to your local data protection authority if you're unhappy with how a request was handled. Because Sirenwave Studios collects so little to begin with, honoring these is usually simple: there's rarely more than a Discord message or a MailerLite subscription to locate.
How to ask
Email hello@sirenstudios.tech and describe what you'd like — access, correction, deletion, or anything else above. We reply directly; there's no ticketing system standing between you and a real answer.
A Couple More Things
Age, and keeping this page current
Adults only
Sirenwave Studios' products, and this website, are intended for adults aged 18 and over — the same age requirement described in the Refund Policy. We don't knowingly collect data from children, and nothing on this site is directed at them.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated as the site, the product line, or the small handful of third-party tools it relies on changes. Meaningful changes will show up here, not buried in a changelog elsewhere. This version was last updated 16 August 2026.
